MEMBER NEWS:

Becky Geear edited a video for Asante and their redesign which has won a Telly Award in the corporate category.

Maddox Visual Productions, the team of Tyler Maddox and Matthew Doell, shot a series of commercials for Motorcycle USA. Members included Rocky Garrotto on Camera; Annie Lundgren as Production Manager. Other SOFaT Members included: Levi Anderson, Sangye Ince-Johannsen, and Mez Roberts.

Gary Kout was 1st AD, Rocky Garrotto was Camera Operator, and Anita Gomez was 2nd AD/PA on a 3-day shoot for a series of commercials for Coos Bay’s Bay Area Hospital produced by Lanphier Associates.

A&E’s “The Haunting Of…” episode with Carnie Wilson shot in a presumably haunted theater/recording studio in Weed, CA. The NY Production Company hired Rocky Garrotto as 3rd Camera Operator; Anita Gomez and Doug Kitzman as PA’s; and Kent Romney for Audio.

Jared Cruce has been filming a series of outdoor education videos for a leading education company, as well as his fourth annual photography campaign for Ashland-based Yala Designs, and photo shoots for the Las Vegas Hotel and various clients in Portland.

Kent Romney provided location sound on the following productions: “Treehouse Masters” on ANIMAL PLANET; the aforementioned "The Haunting of... Carnie Wilson" on A&E; product web videos for HARRY & DAVID; testimonial web displays for the JOSEPHINE COMMUNITY LIBRARY; two episodes of “Deadly Affairs” for I.D. DISCOVERY CHANNEL; and a special segment for the “Rachael Ray Show” on CBS. Kent also filmed the "Romancing the West" musical tour in Redding, CA.

Gary Lundgren, Kent Romney and Brent Streeper have completed an online marketing video for the Ashland Bed & Breakfast Network.

The short dark comedy SELF INFLICTED premieres on May 6th. The film was directed and edited by Ross Williams, produced by Ross and Levi Anderson, shot by Jared Cruce and starred Levi Anderson. Visit http://selfinflictedfilm.com.

Ross Williams also won 1st Place & $10k in a national commercial contest put on by Totinos through Zooppa.com. View the winning spot here.

Brian Garcia has completed his latest church short film "Heart of the Matter" for Igniter Media. View the film here.

Ray Robison is in post-production on an experimental project called "The Reading of Hammer Ridge." The film is a feature length fantasy in which the actors read and pantomime the screenplay while dressed in the wardrobe and makeup of their character. The cast includes SOFaT supporter member Michael Meyer.
