MEMBER NEWS:

Simone Stewart has been named City of Medford Arts Commissioner. Simone will fill a 14 month term beginning in September.

David Kirk West just released his short film "Occam's Razor" online. View it here.

Short films made by David Kirk West, Bruce Bayard, Ross Williams and Richard Jensen were all Official Selections at the 2nd Annual Klamath Independent Film Festival. David Kirk West took First Place with "Liberation" and Richard Jensen took Third with "GlenGary Glen Styx".

Maddox Visual produced a shoot for Husky Liners for the Yonder agency. Locations included the Maddox Visual stage and property, Southern Oregon Subaru and Smith Rock. SOFaT members on the production were: Matt Doell (Producer/AD), Tyler Maddox (AC//Steadicam), Jeffery Star (Production Coordinator), Pete Gillette (Key Grip), and Tom Nead (Gaffer). Maddox Visual also provided the camera and grip/electric equipment.

Maddox Visuals shot a corporate video for the audio electronics company Mackie. Tyler Maddox was DP and Matt Doell was Writer.

Tyler Maddox is the Stills Photographer for feature BROTHERS-IN-LAW shooting out at Klamath Falls.

Rocky Garrotto is working as Assistant Camera on the WWII drama Combat Report, shooting up in Portland.

Darren Campbell completed a short doc, "Trail Stewards of the Lost Sierra," for the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Association, and is working on two non-profit environmental shorts in the State of Jefferson. He also just acquired his first GoPro drone, the DJI Phantom.
