2013 SOFaT Wrap Celebration**"

Join fellow members and special guests for an end-of-year celebration. We'll be showcasing some of the great work accomplished in the past year, announcing a new SOFaT Board, and honoring a few special invitees.

Jean Taylor recently worked as a Casting Assistant with Stuart Stone Casting (from LA) for 3 days of auditions in Ashland for a dog food commercial, seeing over 90 dogs in various locations around town, including the Dog Park, the Plaza downtown and the Railroad District.
Maddox Visual shot for a Bay Area tech company launching a new shopping app for smartphones. Much of the talent, the location (Urban Minx) and crew (12 total) were local. SOFaT Crew included Tyler Maddox, Matt Doell and Levi Anderson. SOFaT Student Members were Jason McMurry and Anna Savage .
Southern Oregon Digital Media Center has lots of member news: They recently wrapped on the 12th and final episode of "Kitchen Wisdom" a grant-funded healthy food preparation and cooking program shot on location at the Co-op community Kitchen. The final six episodes were produced in HD in the hope of further distribution beyond their regional cable reach.
DMC handled the in-house video re-enforcement for the Ashland Culinary Festival.
DMC will be hosting the production of "Immense Possibilities" produced and hosted by member Jeff Golden. The program will continue to air on SOPTV, and is expanding to OPB, and Redding Public Television this coming season. It may be carried on Sacramento Public Television as well.
The DMC public access channel has seen an influx of much higher caliber productions, particularly in live music performances recorded in-house and at venues. They're programming the channel 24/7 now and have dedicated programming blocs as well as national and international news hours (Democracy Now and France 24).
Gary Lundgren directed an industrial film for eMotion Studios out of the Bay Area for the client HP. Rory Finney worked as Camera Operator.
