Movie Icon Bruce Campbell Readies New Film Shot in Southern Oregon

While promoting his new show Hysteria!, local star Bruce Campbell talked about the progress of his latest film, Ernie and Emma. Campbell not only wrote the film but also directed and stars in it. This feature-length drama is set in the fictional town of Pear Valley but was filmed all across the Rogue Valley.

Campbell portrays Ernie Tyler, a pear salesman grappling with the loss of his wife. Though the story begins on a somber note, it gradually brightens into what Campbell describes as “a sunrise story.”

Once the film is completed, Campbell plans to take the film on the road and share it with audiences nationwide.
