About Film Southern Oregon

Film Southern Oregon is a 501(c)6 non-profit economic development organization whose mission is to support, expand, and promote the economic impact of film and media production activity in the region of Southern Oregon, including Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Douglas, Coos, Curry, and Lake Counties.

Founded in 2008 as the trade association Southern Oregon Film and Television (SOFaT) and later Southern Oregon Film and Media (SOFaM), our organization has served media professionals and production companies for more than 15 years. We promote open communications and unity within the local media production community, maintain open communications with local, regional and statewide government and business entities, and provide services and resources that enhance the effectiveness of Southern Oregon’s expanding production services sector.

Film Southern Oregon actively promotes the region as a filmmaking destination and holds regular networking events to strengthen connections between the region’s film professionals and supporters. Subscribe to our newsletter (from the homepage), follow us on our social media accounts, and drop us a line if you are interested in learning more.
